Job Purpose:
The Counselor is the primary interface for GN Overseas with Students/ Associate partners for their students who are seeking to pursue under-graduate or higher education programs in international countries. S/he advises Students/Associate partners for their students on courses and universities in various countries, admission requirements etc., based on the student’s qualifications and aspirations. To enable provision of sound advice to students, the counselor is expected to be updated on
- the courses / programs being offered at various universities & colleges,
- the application, travel & living requirements in identified countries, and
- GNOEC well-established relationships and offerings
- S/he is expected to execute related processes and achieve desired quality standards, service levels and timelines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand aspirations, interests and background of students with the help of profile shared by Students/Associate partners; Conduct detailed profile assessment of students interested in studying in the International universities
- Advises Associate partners regarding courses, universities / colleges in various countries, admission requirements, fee structure, scholarships etc., and assist in shortlisting courses and universities that fit the student’s profile
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, as may be required, for timely submission and follow-up.
- Assist Students/Associate partners with the process for arranging travel and finances, as may be required for their students.
- Advise Students/Associate partners in resolving their student’s queries and other problems, that may arise in the application and joining process
- Responsible for maintaining all information / documents and updating systems, as required
- Network with a range of stakeholders – with business unit(s), partners / associates etc;
- Responsible for conversion of Offer(s) to Payment via performing follow-ups with Students/Associate partners
- Actively contribute to promoting GNOEC in various forums

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day operations of the branch like counselling, applications and visas.
• Managing conflicts between team members.
• Maintaining cordial relations with team members and fostering teamwork and ownership.
• Monitor the regular working of the team members. Ensuring compliance of the allocated work.
• Learn the complete aspects of operations ranging from enquires, counsellings, university shortlisting, application process, visa, financial structuring, etc.

• Manage team’s attendance and punctuality.
• Monitor pendency of enquiries and applications of team members on daily basis.
• Evaluate team members’ performance against KRAs monthly.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for overseas education.
• Do promotional activities considering major events/college fests.
• Travel to all other branch offices on regular intervals for reporting purpose.
• Collaborate/develop network with the local colleges to generate new leads. Conduct informative seminars.

- As a Regional Officer you will have to travel across the State/Region allocated to you in major cities and towns to generate student business from Channel Partners.
- Achieve Student conversions plan for your region.
- Visit at regular intervals the existing Franchisees and Channel Partners and generate new student applications from them.
- Making new channel partners for the allocated region.
- Present the Global Navigators Services, facilities, features and support system such that it generates more student applications and conversions.
- Co-ordinate with Regional Manager for the number of Applications to be generated for a particular month for different countries.
- Assist the Channel Partners to generate applications and resolve there day to day queries.
- Meet the given student conversion target for Education Loan.
- Meet the given student target for the Allied services.
